The flight departures from Thiruvananthapuram, had an intermediate halt at Nedumbassery (The Cochin International Airport) and after a break flew towards the north to New-Delhi's Domestic terminal.
Myself and Izmu felt like our eyes have come across a couple of much familiar Mallu (Keralite) faces flashing in the aircraft cabin. During the Super-shuttle Transit we could confirm that one of them were Dr. Thomas Isaac the Economist/Politician and the other Mr V. S. Achuthanandan of Communist Party of India.
We shared a few moments with Thomas Issac, with whom relieved our political views and also received great insights regarding our route, travel & ac-customization problems we would probably face while moving through higher altitudes.
Advancing with the journey behind the wheels, from New-Delhi at about 1:00am taken the way towards Ludhiana(Punjab) passing over through the busy streets and roads of Delhi.
At about morning 8:00am we thought of taking a break-off at Haveli @ Jalandhar(Punjab) after covering about 450kms. We had a palatable break-fast at the outdoor open restaurant of Haveli, a traditional themed Punjabi food-chain serving vegetarian recipes & cultural foods.

After the morning refresh we commenced our ride towards the next destination @ a guesthouse located in Patnitop. The road to Patnitop is naturally beautified by flora and fauna that the expedition through the valleys will surely gift you with a few adrenaline rush.
Through the valleys
We have reached Patnitop late that evening, a hilltop positioned at Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir and had a pleasant night stay at an altitude of about 2,024 m (6,640 ft).
